Job Title: Business Support Analyst: Wire Transfer
Location:Riverside, RI
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM,
Role is on-site only—remote/hybrid work not available.
Duration: 3 months (possibility of extension)
Job Summary:
The Wire Investigator supports Commercial Operations by handling wire and real-time payment investigations with a strong emphasis on operational excellence and superior customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well independently, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve wire and real-time payment cases from multiple sources within designated timelines.
- Adhere strictly to internal risk policies and federal/international regulations, including REG E and Dodd-Frank guidelines.
- Document clear and comprehensive case notes for each investigation.
- Answer investigation-related phone inquiries with professionalism and urgency.
- Conduct independent research and coordinate with customers, colleagues, and partners to resolve findings.
- Focus on meeting internal SLAs while ensuring high diligence and customer satisfaction.
- Handle OFAC and fraud-related wire investigations, primarily for commercial clients.
- Set up cases accurately with a solid understanding of wire processes and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to draft detailed investigative notes and summaries.
- Ability to read and interpret financial documents and transaction data effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills; comfortable escalating issues appropriately.
- Proven experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with diverse professionals and teams.
- Knowledge of domestic and international wire transfers preferred.
- Customer service background is welcome—wire process training will be provided.
Candidates with strong writing and independent analytical skills are highly preferred.
