BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS ANALYST
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal and external customers in a fast paced manufacturing environment to understand, validate, and document business processes and reporting needs.
- Interprets business requirements and determines optimum BI solutions to meet needs.
- Develop BI solutions using industry standard tools:
- SQL, SSRS/SSIS, Tableau, Crystal Reports, Data Warehouse
- Perform analysis for a wide range of requests using data in different formats and from various platforms with an emphasis on ERP in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to interface and meet the needs of stakeholders from all levels of the organization.
- Work closely with business partners to implement and integrate reporting systems and enhancements. Develops best practices for report deployments.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training materials and end user communications.
- Must maintain professional/technical knowledge (attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices)
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
- B.S. in a technical discipline along with 3 years prior experience providing business intelligence solutions in a manufacturing environment
- Prior ERP experience preferred, particularly with Sage X3
- Solid project management skills with the ability to plan, initiate, and execute projects impacting the business. Strong organizational skills are a must.
- Must be able to effectively interact with a diverse group; executives, managers, vendors, technical resources, and subject matter experts.
- Position requires strong analytical and problem solving skills. Successful candidate must have the ability to effectively evaluate information/data to make technology recommendations.
