Job Summary
The Business Intelligence Developer III will support business-as-usual operations and new project initiatives focused on data analytics, insights, and visualization. This role involves transforming data from multiple sources into trusted dashboards and automated workflows using Power BI and Power Platform tools.
You will join a collaborative team of approximately 15 professionals in a supportive environment that encourages learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do
Lead Data Governance & Hygiene
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the enterprise-wide data hygiene framework
  • Apply ITIL best practices and enterprise data standards to improve data quality and compliance
  • Proactively identify and resolve data issues before they impact reporting or decision-making
Build & Automate Smarter Workflows
  • Gather requirements and design end-to-end solutions using Power BI and Power Automate
  • Develop dashboards using DAX, Power Query, and publish reporting solutions
  • Create and manage automated workflows to optimize business processes
  • Continuously enhance scalability, efficiency, and reliability of data solutions
Drive Insightful, Trusted Reporting
  • Create and maintain dashboards that clearly communicate insights
  • Provide real-time, actionable reporting aligned with KPIs
  • Ensure reporting aligns with enterprise governance standards
Solve Problems & Lead Improvements
  • Own the resolution of production issues impacting operational data and workflows
  • Identify opportunities to improve tools, processes, and reporting accuracy
Champion Innovation & Collaboration
  • Bring a continuous improvement mindset to the team
  • Share knowledge and mentor team members
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions

Required Skills
  • 2+ years experience building data solutions using Power BI (DAX, Power Query, dashboard publishing)
  • Experience creating and managing workflows using Power Automate or similar tools
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 and enterprise systems
  • 3+ years experience in IT operations, service delivery, or a related field

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
  • ServiceNow modules: Incident, Change, Problem, Performance Analytics, TDAR, SPM
  • Python-based data visualization or machine learning
  • Prior experience working with AI technologies

Soft Skills
  • Strong communication skills across technical and business teams
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to identify gaps and deliver solutions
  • Passion for improving processes through data and automation

Education & Certifications
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • ITIL, SAFe, and AI certifications considered an asset

Performance Measurement & Training
  • Performance measured by delivery against timelines and milestones
  • Onboarding with approximately 1 month of training
