JOB DESCRIPTION
Business Intelligence & Reporting Sr. Analysts are responsible for executing risk management framework through the identification and management of Key Risk Indicator (KRI), Key Performance Indicator (KPI), and Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) metrics. The Sr. Analyst is responsible for developing, analyzing, reporting, and challenging metric data for Technology Infrastructure. They participate in initiatives and recommend opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness of risk identification through metrics. Those who desire to work as a BI analyst should demonstrate a strong understanding of managerial and professional skill sets. BI analysts are generally tasked with collaborating with a team of cross-departmental managers and are usually expected to be able to demonstrate leadership capabilities. They should also be well versed in many different aspects of business administration. Presentation skills are also a must as BI analysts are often expected to chair meetings discussing organizational data and future directions of the company. BI analysts should exhibit proficiency in many different Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel. It is also expected that analysts will naturally demonstrate superior creative thinking and decision-making abilities consistently in their work. Finally, analysts should be capable of working within a diverse, global workforce that is consumer oriented.
