Role Impact
The Business Development Manager leads strategic growth initiatives by cultivating alliances, expanding market reach, and unlocking new revenue streams across the construction and modular infrastructure sectors. This role partners with cross-functional teams to introduce complementary services, enhance client value, and strengthen enterprise relationships. Success is defined by measurable pipeline development, increased service adoption, and long-term partnership growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish and manage strategic alliances with complementary industry organizations to broaden service capabilities and generate referral opportunities
* Expand market presence by identifying untapped sectors, emerging trends, and new channels for business development
* Cultivate and advance early-stage opportunities through the sales lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational growth objectives
* Collaborate with internal sales teams and enterprise account leaders to introduce value-added solutions, including specialty and seasonal offerings
* Evaluate prospective partners and vendors to ensure operational compatibility, scalability, and non-competitive positioning
Minimum Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or consultative sales within construction, modular solutions, or related industries
* Demonstrated success in developing partnership ecosystems and generating qualified business opportunities
* Ability to travel frequently to support client engagements, partner development, and industry events
Equipment & Work Environment
* Remote home office environment with regular virtual collaboration
* Frequent travel to partner, vendor, and client locations
* Utilization of CRM platforms (Customer Relationship Management systems), Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual communication tools
