Description:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth in the High-Performance Computing Business Unit (HPCBU) by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners. This role requires expertise in rack/server/network interface cards, high-speed I/O platforms, and system-level integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a target customer list.
Conduct meetings and presentations with potential customers.
Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and technology leaders.
Pursue RFQs, business opportunities, and purchase orders to drive revenue growth.
Coordinate internal efforts for new customer acquisition and business development.
Provide market insights and stay updated on product, technology, and industry trends.
Support business expansion in Great China, acting as the primary business interface.
Participate in industry committees and groups to stay informed about advancements.
Prepare and present technical presentations at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Track competitor activity, industry trends, and dependencies that impact revenue.
Identify business expansion opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Align product management with customer expectations to develop strategic roadmaps.
Work closely with large OEM/ODM customers and maintain a broad knowledge of the Great China data center market.
Utilize expertise in high-speed systems, cooling, mechanical, and engineering tradeoffs.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a similar industry.
Prior participation in industry groups and associations is preferred.
System-level integration, interoperability, and manufacturing test experience is a plus.
Proficiency in networking, prospecting, sales planning, CRM, Microsoft Office, and public speaking.
Strong persuasion, research, and closing skills with a goal-driven mindset.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
