Position Overview

Join us in the summer of 2026 and help us continue the legacy of fostering creativity, nurturing talent, and celebrating the individual artistic journey at Interlochen. We are seeking reliable and professional Bus Drivers who embody our core values and are committed to nurturing young artists. As a Bus Driver, youll play a major role in driving a variety of vehicles, including buses, vans, and cars to transport students, faculty, guests, candidates, and performers around campus and to off-site locations, while fully immersing yourself in the unique environment that only a summer camp can offer.

• Ability to adapt to changing schedules, weather conditions, and transportation needs.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to address minor issues.

• Ability to load and unload luggage and assist passengers.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This is a seasonal position located in Interlochen, Michigan.Housing is not included for this position, and employees are responsible for arranging their own accommodations.

What You Need

• Availability6/15/2026 - 8/10/2026
• Valid CDL-C driver's license is required.
• CDL-B driver's license with Passenger and School Bus endorsement is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required as well as ability to pass a motor vehicle background check.
• Prior experience in transportation, especially in a school or campus setting, is preferred.
• Excellent driving record and strong understanding of traffic rules and regulations required.
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check as well as a DOT physical.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
