Major Responsibilities:

  • Dismantle a minimum of six (6) buses per week
  • Must be Familiar with Noregon laptop and engine / transmission diagnostic
  • removal of certain parts as indicated on work orders
  • Inspecting for quality control all parts inventoried (both warehouse and yard parts)
  • Marking all parts removed with vehicle stock#, then attaching correct tag.
  • Putting parts away into warehouse, scanning locations with barcode reader if applicable
  • Updating computer with completed vehicle status, vehicle location, parts locations, and updated quality control information.
  • Removing wheels and tires if applicable
  • Cleaning work area of all debris, scrap, spills, trash, etc. before starting next vehicle
  • Provide general assistance to external and internal customers as needed             
  • Must have knowledge and use of welding equipment
  • Exhibits the highest ethical best practices and personal integrity; Shares concerns about suspicious or inappropriate behavior with their supervisor or manager
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications


Job Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of automotive or diesel experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Vocational or Technical certification preferred
  • Working knowledge in the use of hand tools required
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have or be able to obtain a Forklift operating license
