Our client, a leader in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering & Technical Services department supporting the Facilities Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Monitor and maintain building system operations including plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems
  • Perform standard repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal building performance
  • Patch, paint, and handle filter changes as needed
  • Manage fan cooling units in ceilings and respond to hot/cold calls promptly
  • Utilize work order systems and tablets to document and track maintenance activities

What's Needed?

  • 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance or engineering roles
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel
  • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently
