Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Provide strategic financial advice and guidance to our clients, helping them to understand their financial position and make informed decisions about their budgets and financial planning.
2. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive financial plans that support our clients' strategic goals.
3. Conduct detailed financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
4. Prepare clear and concise financial reports, presenting complex financial information in an understandable manner.
5. Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
6. Provide training and support to clients in budget preparation and financial management.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring our clients' financial practices remain compliant and effective.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA designation is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Budget Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
3. Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
4. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and understandable manner.
7. Ability to work effectively with clients, demonstrating patience, professionalism, and empathy.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. A commitment to ethical financial practices and adherence to industry regulations and standards.
10. A passion for the nonprofit sector and a desire to make a positive impact through your work.
