Bridge Inspector: Lisle, IL 60532. Responsible for providing structural technical support as Bridge Inspector in 8 member team to perform inspections of bridges, retaining walls, noise walls, sign structures of Illinois Tollway in a team of 2-3 engineers at given time. Generate inspection reports of various assets in Illinois tollway adopted software program “Cartegraph/ Opengov”, provide condition ratings of asset components create repair tasks, recommend load ratings and load postings of bridges. Be a part of large inspection teams of 12-18 engineers to perform Surety, Pre-final and Final walkthrough to assure newly constructed transportation assets such as bridges, noisewalls, retaining walls are in accordance with design and construction standards pertaining to Tollway manuals.

Minimum Requirements: BS in Civil Engineering plus 2 years’ experience as a Bridge Inspector or Structural Engineer or related position. Experience must include performing bridge inspection according to AASHTO and DOT procedures. $92k to $125k/year. Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO and more.
