Join a dynamic professional services company as a Financial Records Specialist, playing a vital role for various small business and personal clients. This position offers a mixed working environment, with a 3-day in-office and 2-day remote structure in Sugar Land, Texas.
Primary Duties:
- Oversee the general ledger and input journal entries accurately
- Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations regularly
- Handle accounts payable and facilitate timely payments
- Record financial transactions, including cash inflows and outflows
- Develop and present detailed client financial statements
- Oversee payroll processing for multiple clients
- Prepare necessary payroll and sales tax documentation
- Provide basic administrative assistance, such as document scanning and client communication
Requirements:
- Proven experience in comprehensive bookkeeping
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel at an intermediate level
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Efficiently manage competing deadlines in a dynamic workplace
Preferred:
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Familiarity with Xero software
- Skilled in payroll and sales tax preparation
