square foot facility with a complete 18 bay truck shop and state-of-the-art body

shop as well as our new Tanker and Trailer repair facility just 10 minutes north in

New Brighton.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Body Shop Painter, Prepper, and All-Around Technician to join our team. This multi-skilled role is responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, painting, assisting in body repairs, and supporting general shop operations. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Painting & Preparation:

• Prepare vehicles for painting (masking, sanding, taping, priming).

• Mix and match paint for accurate color and finish.

• Apply paint using spray guns and other equipment following OEM standards.

• Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make corrections as needed.

Body Work Assistance:

• Assist technicians in minor bodywork repairs (dent removal, filler work, panel alignment).

• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as needed for paint or repair.

• Support body technicians with part replacement and hardware installation.

General Shop Duties:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the paint booth and work areas.

• Clean tools and equipment after use.

• Assist with inventory control of paint and materials.

• Follow safety protocols and use PPE appropriately.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in auto body prep and paint required.

• Knowledge of paint mixing systems and refinishing techniques.

• Familiarity with auto body tools and safety practices.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
