SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Blender Operators for a client in Elgin, IL. Blender Operators are responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating large scale mixing equipment to supply the food packaging lines. They will move large bags of ingredients and pour them into large blending equipment. A Blender Operator is reliable, able to work with attention to detail and uphold safety standards.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members!  All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($19/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts include:
-1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm-2nd shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm-3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:30am

Responsibilities of the Blender Operator:
-Clean and set-up blender to start production runs. -Count, weight, and label partial ingredients. -Use a computer to prints material labels.  -Add ingredients to blending equipment following procedures.-Keep detailed batch records including proper weights, ingredients, and lot information.-Maintain a clean and safe work area.-Pre-weigh ingredients to achieve the proper quantities and weights based on batch sheet specifications.-Perform inspection and preventive maintenance tasks as required.-Examine materials visually in order to ensure conformance to established standards.-Perform all work in accordance with GMP's, housekeeping, quality, good safety practices, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications of the Blender Operator:
-At least 1 year or more experience as a Blender/Batch Technician-Able to weigh accurately, calibrate, and record weights correctly-Ability to read/write in English-Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and stand for long periods of time when needed-Understanding of GMPs and HACCP regulations-Analytical skills, knowledge of basic industrial math -Teamwork and communication skills
