SMV Recruiting is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Syracuse area on a confidential search for a Quality Assurance Technician supporting blending and production operations. This is a 3rd shift position supporting both blending and quality within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role on the production floor, not a lab-only position. You will be responsible for staging ingredients, executing batch recipes, and performing quality checks to ensure product meets specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow directions closely, and someone comfortable being on their feet for the majority of the shift. FYI, this role operates from 10:00pm–6:30am

Responsibilities:

• Stage ingredients and execute batching and blending processes according to detailed recipes
• Perform in-process quality checks and basic lab testing to ensure product meets specifications
• Monitor batches throughout the process and identify and escalate quality issues
• Complete batch documentation, quality records, and required production logs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area following GMP and sanitation standards
• Support production needs including changeovers and material handling

Requirements:

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent manufacturing experience
• 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing, food/beverage, or production environment
• Quality, QA, or QC experience preferred in a manufacturing setting
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours a day
• High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions exactly
• Ability to work 3rd shift and train on 1st shift for onboarding

• This role is paying $28-32.50/hr. OT and a Shift Differential
