Blender / Chemical Plant Operator
East Hanover, NJ

Pay: $25-28 per hour
HOURS 6AM to 2:30PM
Degree Requirement:
After Blender is experienced, may have opportunity to move to 2nd shift.
Job Description:
* Follow Standard Operation Procedures
* Offload and Unload bulk chemicals
* Transfer chemicals as required
* Perform blending of batch operations
* Fill out required paperwork
* Continually stive to learn and improve
* Perform lock out tag out on equipment per procedure/guidance
* Perform regularly inspections as required to maintain compliance
* Perform preventive maintenance and quality control checks
* Transfer of materials, material sampling
* Monitor and record process data as required
* Proactively respond safely and quickly to process abnormalities
* Maintain good housekeeping
* Packaging products in various containers as needed
* Perform necessary task to maintain inventory of materials
* (cycle counts, SAP transaction, tank gauging, calculating tank quantities and transfers, etc.)
* Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Experience:
Team Development:
* The Blending Operator will be expected to take an active role in learning the equipment, processes and systems.
* Additionally, they will be expected to:
* Participate in organizational improvement teams, i.e. Safety Committees, Quality Improvement,
* Productivity/Cost Reductions Teams, etc.
* Actively share their knowledge to train/mentor other team members
