We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Bioproduction Technologist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the scientific industry, contributing to the development and manufacturing of innovative biotherapeutic products. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the production of viral vectors, utilizing state-of-the-art techniques and equipment in a GMP environment. This is a permanent, full-time position offering the chance to work with a team of dedicated professionals committed to making a significant impact on global health.
Responsibilities:
1. Conducting virus production and downstream processing in a GMP compliant cleanroom environment.
2. Utilizing aseptic techniques to ensure the sterility and integrity of all bioproducts.
3. Performing viral vector production, including the use of chromatography and tangential flow filtration techniques.
4. Collaborating with the research and development team to optimize processes and improve product yield and quality.
5. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to bioproduction processes.
6. Documenting all processes, results, and findings in accordance with regulatory requirements.
7. Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
8. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of four years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on virus production, downstream processing, and viral vector production.
3. Solid experience in working with aseptic techniques in a GMP compliant cleanroom environment.
4. Proficient in chromatography and tangential flow filtration techniques.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex bioproduction issues.
6. Strong documentation skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
8. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
