Day to day as a Biomedical Technician

As a Full Time Biomedical Technician at Harrison County Hospital, you can expect a dynamic and engaging work environment. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of medical equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety. You will collaborate closely with clinical staff to address equipment concerns, perform routine preventive maintenance, and document repairs and services in compliance with regulatory standards. Your typical schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while contributing to critical healthcare operations.

Additionally, you may participate in training sessions and meetings to stay current with new technologies and best practices. This role offers valuable hands-on experience and the chance to develop your skills in a supportive, customer-focused environment.

What we're looking for in a Biomedical Technician

To be successful as a Full Time Biomedical Technician at Harrison County Hospital, candidates should possess a robust foundation in biomedical engineering, technology, or a related field, ideally supported by an Associate Degree.
