Responsibilities:
- The Center for Biological Innovation (CBI) that utilizes in vitro and ex vivo approaches, such as biochemical, cell-based, microbial, and tissue-based assays to support the design, development and commercialization products.
- Candidate should have appropriate scientific experience to provide the technical support required for supporting in vitro biomedical research studies.
- Supporting in vitro hemocompatibility testing of blood contacting devices at the bench
- Following experimental protocols and executing on tasks both independently and with guidance from senior team members
- Assisting with preparation of data for reporting and presentation
- Optimizing and troubleshooting technical assays
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records
- 3 Years with Associate with Biology degree/diploma or Bachelors, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
- Background in Cell Biology
- Hands-on experience in cell biology techniques, e.g. hemocompatibility testing (highly desirable), microscopy. immunostaining, flow cytometry, and/or cell culture
- Ability to quickly learn new techniques and adapt in a changing environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and on an individual basis
