Job Details

Our client is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead the implementation, coordination, and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across multiple projects. This role will play a key part in supporting project teams through virtual design and construction (VDC), model coordination, and digital construction workflows.

The ideal candidate will bring a builder’s mentality, strong collaboration skills, and experience working with a general contractor environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage BIM and VDC processes from preconstruction through project completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and preconstruction teams to improve project efficiency through technology.
  • Ensure models are properly utilized for field coordination, prefabrication, and project planning.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on BIM tools and digital construction processes.
  • Support project teams with 4D scheduling, constructability reviews, and model-based coordination.
  • Experience leading model coordination and clash detection processes.
  • Develop and implement BIM/VDC standards, protocols, and workflows across the organization.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and BIM coordination tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows, sequencing, and field coordination.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in leading and managing BIM and VDC processes.
  • Ability to provide training and guidance to project teams on BIM tools and digital construction processes.
  • Experience in supporting project teams with 4D scheduling, constructability reviews, and model-based coordination.
  • Knowledge of current trends and developments in BIM/VDC technology.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
