Job Title: Bilingual Scheduling Coordinator                                                 

Job Summary: We are a pediatric non-profit organization seeking a bilingual scheduling coordinator to join our professional team. The role of the scheduling coordinator is to schedule patient appointments and provide administrative support services to our providers.

Responsibility/Duties:

·         Schedule/reschedule initial and recurring appointments

·         Monitor patient attendance

·         May occasionally be required to discuss low attendance rates with parents

·         Patient check out including collecting payment and scheduling follow-up visits

·         Collaborate with authorization department to monitor authorization deadlines

·         Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

·         Bilingual in English/Spanish required. Only bilingual candidates will be considered

·         Excellent customer/patient service skills and great phone etiquette

·         Candidates must be organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks

·         “Can-do” attitude and willingness to learn new skills and technologies

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

·         High School diploma or equivalent

·         Previous administrative or clerical experience in a clinical setting

·         Previous experience as medical scheduler preferred

Physical Requirements:

Stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; public speaking; hear; see; bend, able to lift 15 pounds; drive a motor vehicle. Job requires extensive computer use, employee must have sufficient hand dexterity to use a computer keyboard/mouse and computer screen for long periods of time.
