Bilingual Licensed Insurance Customer Service - Chinese

Position Overview

Vicky Chen State Farm Agency is seeking a licensed, bilingual, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support and manage existing client accounts. This role focuses on customer service, policy support, and relationship building, not cold calling or commission-only sales.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Mandarin or Cantonese, holds an active California Property & Casualty insurance license, and has prior experience working in an insurance agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide prompt, accurate, and professional customer service to existing clients

Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, claims support, transfers, and coverage explanations

Build and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive follow-up

Educate customers on insurance options using a needs-based, customer-focused approach

Accurately document client interactions using agency systems and CRM tools

Support overall agency operations while maintaining confidentiality and compliance

Required Qualifications

Active California Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license (required)

2+ years of insurance customer service or agency experience preferred

Fluent in English and Mandarin or Cantonese

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working in a structured, team-based office environment

Work Schedule & Location

MondayThursday: Onsite at our agency in Chino Hills, CA

Friday: Remote workday

This is a primarily in-office role; candidates seeking fully remote positions will not be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly base pay: $22$26/hour (based on experience)
