The Bilingual Consumer Collector is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:
  • Contact customers with past-due automobile loans via phone, email, and written communication to secure timely payments.
  • Provide courteous, clear, and professional service in both English and Spanish.
  • Review account histories, verify customer information, and document all collection activities in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate customer circumstances to establish reasonable payment arrangements, extensions, or workout plans.
  • Educate customers on account status, payment expectations, and the potential consequences of delinquency.
  • Escalate accounts for repossession, skip tracing, or legal action when necessary, following internal guidelines.
  • Maintain individual performance standards related to call volume, recovery goals, quality assurance, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments—including Loan Servicing, Customer Service, and Recovery teams—to resolve account issues.
Required qualifications for the position include:
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in collections.
  • Knowledge of automobile lending, consumer credit, and collection laws (FDCPA, UDAAP, state regulations) is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with collection systems, CRM platforms, and basic computer applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Pay Rate Range: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour or $45,760 - $56,160 annual

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
