BGA Rework Technician

Day Shift: M - F 7am - 3:30 pm - Onsite

Swing Shift: 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM - Onsite

Job Function

As part of our team, you will be responsible for reworking PCBAs and components, performing a variety of duties in accordance with your training, experience, and skills. You will directly report to the Manufacturing Manager.

Qualifications

• 1.5 years of extensive BGA rework experience, with BGA rework comprising 90%-100% of your daily activities.

Experience

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment.

Skills

• BGA (Ball Grid Array) rework experience (at least 1 year).
• Skilled at removing parts from PCBA and using solder equipment.
• Proficient in hand soldering, including jumper wires.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and manufacturing work instructions.
• Accuracy in documentation.
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
• Practical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review daily rework schedule with manufacturing supervisor.
• Perform repairs on PCBs based on the daily schedule.
• Validate materials and required documentation for work orders.
• May train new hires on SOPs, etc.
• Other duties as assigned or needed.
• Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
