Beverage Director

Navy Beach Restaurant, a high-volume, waterfront destination in Montauk entering its 17th season, is hiring an experienced Beverage Director or Bar Manager for the 2026 season. This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality leader with strong beverage knowledge and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Oversee all bar operations and beverage program execution
  

• Develop cocktail menus and manage wine, beer, spirits, and NA offerings
  

• Control inventory, ordering, par levels, and beverage costs
  

• Lead bar and FOH staff during service; ensure excellent guest experience
  

• Hire, train, coach, and support bar and service staff
  

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of bar areas
  

• Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally
  

• Collaborate with kitchen and management teams during service
  

• Complete beverage reporting and support events and activations
  

• 3+ years hospitality experience; management experience preferred
  

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
  

• Comfortable leading teams in high-volume service
  

• Professional, organized, and guest-focused
  

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  

• Experience with Micros POS, Resy, Avero, and Excel a plus
  

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work long shifts on your feet
  

• Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  

• Established Montauk destination entering its 17th season
