Navy Beach Restaurant, a high-volume, waterfront destination in Montauk entering its 17th season, is hiring an experienced Beverage Director or Bar Manager for the 2026 season. This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality leader with strong beverage knowledge and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
Oversee all bar operations and beverage program execution
Develop cocktail menus and manage wine, beer, spirits, and NA offerings
Control inventory, ordering, par levels, and beverage costs
Lead bar and FOH staff during service; ensure excellent guest experience
Hire, train, coach, and support bar and service staff
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of bar areas
Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally
Collaborate with kitchen and management teams during service
Complete beverage reporting and support events and activations
3+ years hospitality experience; management experience preferred
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
Comfortable leading teams in high-volume service
Professional, organized, and guest-focused
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with Micros POS, Resy, Avero, and Excel a plus
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work long shifts on your feet
Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Established Montauk destination entering its 17th season
