Key Responsibilities of the Benefits Administrator
- Ensure continuity of all leave administration processes, documentation, employee communication, and compliance
- Address and resolve employee benefit questions post-open enrollment, supporting both education and group home programs
- Coordinate with vendors (Aetna, benefits brokers, etc.) to manage benefit enrollments, updates, and any required invoice processing
- Provide weekly reporting and status updates for HR leadership and maintain accurate data for compliance and staffing coverage
- Support and maintain relationships in a union-influenced environment, addressing leave or benefits escalations as needed
Skills/Experience
- Experience specifically in benefits and leave administration within HR – all levels encouraged to apply
- Hands-on expertise with HRIS (preferably Paycom), Excel (sorting/filtering/pivot tables), and vendor management
- Track record supporting high-volume, multi-site, or nonprofit organizations
