About the Role

The Club Operations Pool Attendant is responsible for guest safety in pool and pool areas.

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cleanliness, safety and equipment maintenance of the pool areas according to Risk Management and OSHA guidelines
• Monitor maintenance concerns of equipment, pool and garden areas
• Ensure safety is a first priority in accordance with CPR certifications
• Promote positive customer relations for all customers by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service

Essential Functions

• Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to, secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts/hours.
• Must be able to withstand weather related high temperatures and sun
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Physically capable of using the required equipment and/or tools specific to position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must demonstrate good communication and customer service skills

• Experience preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
