Job Summary
The Bartender will deliver a quality experience while maintaining a great energy and vibe. Actively taking
orders, completing food and beverage service, and monitoring the guests’ experience, while continuously
interacting with the guests, fellow team members, and management in a polite, courteous manner to ensure
gracious hospitality.
Duties-Responsibilities
Greeting guests in a positive, friendly manner and making them feel welcome
Guide guests through all phases of their experience
Responsible for a cash bank or impressed bank issued at the beginning of service
Exhibit proper menu knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and
alcoholic beverages, and any menu items offered
Mix and serve drinks, proportioning ingredients to exact recipes and cost criteria
Orderly presentation of beverage orders
Solicit any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest
Check ordered food items, ensure accuracy and deliver items to guests according to steps of service
Process Guest payments by cash, credit card, venue comps and all other tender types
Responsible to ensure accurate accounting of all bar monies and independent banking procedures
Comply with all state and federal liquor laws
Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive Guests and promptly bring to a manager’s attention
Refuse further service of alcohol to intoxicated guests in a courteous and safety-minded manner
Requests identification from customers when legal age is questioned and works in an efficient and
professional manner
Maintain a bar inventory, order product to maintain established levels
Ensure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine and consumable items
Clean all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order
Keep bar tops, floors, service areas, and POS station/s clean/free of dirty glasses, dirty ashtrays, trash,
and any unnecessary items throughout shift
Clean all spills immediately
Provide direction to and assistance to support staff to ensure proper service
Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately
Bid farewell to guests, using guest’s name when known, and encourage them to return
Perform all opening and closing duties, based upon shift assignment
Communicate effectively with management and service team members in order to fulfill and address
any issues or needs requested by guests and or other team members
Work as a team, assisting all guests’ and team members’ needs and inquiries
Conform to the department grooming standards, uniform or attire, and jewelry policy
Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department and all health and
safety regulations set by County health department
Responsible for proper check out policies and procedures
Perform side work as assigned
Work Experience & Knowledge-Education Background
2-year experience as a Bartender in a similar work environment or 1-year experience in a fine dining
establishment required

Must have a working knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Food
Basic computer skills and experience with POS systems and cash handling skills
License-Certificates:
SNHD Food Handlers Card
Alcohol Awareness Cert
Gaming Registration (where required)
Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in The United States
Must Have Craft Card Issued by the Union
