Banquet Server - On Call

Valley Forge Casino & Resort is looking for on-Call Banquet Servers to join our growing Banquet team. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and has great attention to detail. The average gratuities yield an additional 19-20 per hour on top of your base pay.

Summary:
To ensure quality guest service to all guests at catered hotel and convention center functions.

Job Duties:

• Sets up banquet meal functions as described by the banquet function sheet. 
• Provide prompt, professional and courteous service during banquet meal functions. 
• Performs tableside buffet food service as required.  Maintains a clean and orderly workstation. 
• Cleans tables of all glasses, silver, china, etc. during and after banquet functions. 
• Completes all assigned side work throughout scheduled shift. 
• Greets and continually monitors to ensure quality guest satisfaction. 
• Informs supervisor of guest comments/complaints. 
• Assists in the set-up and break-down of functions when business demands are high. 
   

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  
• Good customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively with others; understand and complies with all Company and departmental rules and regulations.
