Job Summary

We are seeking a Back Office / Inside Sales Assistant for a direct hire opportunity in Canton, MA. This role involves supporting sales and operational functions, maintaining communication with customers, and ensuring accurate documentation and data management. Canton offers a vibrant community with a rich history and easy access to the Greater Boston area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inside Sales & Commercial Support:
    • Prepare and manage sales quotations in coordination with sales and technical teams.
    • Process and track customer purchase orders.
    • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding order status, delivery timelines, and documentation.
    • Support invoicing follow-up and general sales administration.
  • Back Office & Operations Coordination:
    • Act as a liaison between U.S. sales and service teams, headquarters and manufacturing locations, and logistics partners.
    • Manage commercial and operational documentation, including order files, contracts, and compliance or technical documentation.
    • Maintain accurate data in internal systems (CRM: Zoho, ERP: SAP Business One).
  • Administrative & Organizational Support:
    • Support field sales and service teams with scheduling, documentation, and coordination.
    • Prepare basic internal reports (sales tracking, backlog, forecasts, KPIs).
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes as the U.S. organization grows.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Administration, or Commercial Back Office.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or technical B2B environments strongly preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and reliable manner.
  • Professional communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a small to mid-size organization.

Systems & Tools

  • ERP: SAP Business One (or similar ERP experience required).
  • CRM: Zoho (or comparable CRM systems).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and standard office tools.

Languages

  • English: Native or fully fluent (required).
  • Spanish: A strong plus, particularly for Mexico-related market support.

Work Environment

  • 100% on-site position (no remote or hybrid option).
  • Office-based role with close interaction with sales, service, and management teams.
  • Industrial B2B environment involving engineered, high-value technical products.
