Location: Alpharetta / Johns Creek, GA 30022
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No Weekends)
Pay Rate: $30.00 – $43.00/hr Flat Rate + Production Bonuses
Experience: 6+ Years Professional Automotive Experience

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced Lead Automotive Technician / Shop Foreman for a highly respected specialty shop in Alpharetta / Johns Creek, GA. This opportunity is ideal for an A Level Automotive Technician with strong diagnostic ability who wants to grow into a leadership role mentoring other technicians.

This Monday–Friday position offers flat-rate pay from $30 – $43/hr plus production bonuses, a steady workflow, and the chance to work primarily on Toyota and Lexus vehicles in a well-organized shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on Toyota and Lexus vehicles

• Act as the technical leader in the shop, assisting technicians with difficult diagnostics and repair strategies

• Mentor and train developing technicians, helping them improve skills and efficiency

• Oversee repair quality and ensure work is completed correctly the first time

• Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate diagnostics and smooth workflow

• Complete repairs including brakes, suspension, drivability, electrical systems, and drivetrain work

• Utilize diagnostic equipment, factory scan tools, and digital vehicle inspections (DVI)

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience as an Automotive Technician

• Strong diagnostic ability with Toyota and Lexus vehicles preferred

• Experience with scan tools, diagnostics, and electrical troubleshooting

• Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor and guide other technicians

• ASE certifications preferred (A1–A8 or equivalent experience)

• Comfortable communicating with service advisors and team members

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Own professional automotive tools
