Automotive Controller

HHM Talent is assisting a client search for an Automotive Controller in Tampa, FL.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations for two independent pre-owned rooftops
• Manage an accounting team of four
• Perform and review accurate bank reconciliations within DealerTrack DMS
• Lead and participate in restructuring the accounting office alongside HHM
• Ensure strong internal controls and accurate financial reporting
• Close month-end books within 3-5 business days
• Potentially manage additional locations remotely as the company grows

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Strong hands-on experience with DealerTrack DMS
• Must have prior automotive dealership accounting experience
• Proven ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and close month-end efficiently
• Strong organizational skills, management and leadership capability

Compensation & Benefits

• $150,000-$200,000 base salary
• Relocation assistance available
