Automotive Body Shop / Collision Center Estimator
We have an immediate opening for a Collision Center Estimator. An ideal candidate will be an experienced estimator who is also a team player, hard-working, professional, and efficient.
Job Duties:
- Greet each customer in the process of getting a vehicle repaired
- Make every effort to satisfy the customer’s needs in regard to their automotive repair
- Schedule customer appointments
- Make a customer feel comfortable and welcome during the sales and estimate process
- Examines damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage
- Prepare all damage reports in an accurate and efficient manner
- Negotiate an agreed price on every job prior to processing the job
- Order parts associated with each job
- Track daily progress of jobs in process
- Prepare and review all final bills and supplemental billings prior to delivery of the vehicle
Requirements
Body Shop Estimator Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Preferred relationships with major insurance DRP programs
- Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Must be state certified for estimating
- I-Car certifications for estimating platinum level 1, 2 and 3 strongly preferred
- Must be familiar with researching OEM repair procedures (Repair Logic)
- Strong communication skills
- Good CSI scores
