Job Summary:
The Automotive Body & Paint Shop Supervisor will manage the day-to-day activities of shop team members to ensure Roush quality standards, project budgets for hours, materials, timing, policies and procedures are met. The Automotive Body & Paint Shop Supervisor will interact and communicate with leads, shop team members, customers, and management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Interact with and communicate with customers to resolve issues and ensure program timing, budget, and quality standards are met.
Supervise team members including setting goals, providing guidance, and training.
Manage employee conflict, safety incidents, and emergency situations.
Work with internal departments to utilize available resources.
Ensure shop equipment is maintained properly.
Manage shop organization and clean-up ensuring safety standards and procedures are followed.

Education and Experience (required):
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive body and paint to include 2 years of experience leading others formally or informally.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and good computer skills.
Excellent knowledge of automotive body and paint and ability to operate shop equipment.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills.
Able to supervise, mentor, and train team members.
Ability to read, comprehend and execute written procedures.

Education and Experience (preferred):
Certificate in Automotive Body Repair or related.
Valid driver s license.
Advanced computer skills.
Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends.
