Job Details

Role Summary
  • Responsible for the design and execution of automated manufacturing solutions, ensuring projects are completed within established timelines and cost parameters.
  • Key responsibilities include developing mechanical designs for automated systems and robotic work cells, including equipment layout, component selection, performance sizing, and engineering analysis. Create detailed design documentation, 3D models, and technical drawing packages while supporting system configuration within internal business systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, controls, and integration teams to deliver safe, compliant solutions aligned with customer specifications and applicable industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate technical and execution risks throughout the design lifecycle while supporting overall project success.
  • Interpret technical requirements and commercial proposals to define project scope, develop implementation plans, and maintain alignment with project budgets covering labor and material costs. Support adherence to project schedules and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet delivery objectives.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers for fabricated and purchased components based on quality, cost, and delivery considerations. Contribute to proposal development by providing technical input, feasibility guidance, and cost awareness for future opportunities.
  • Present design concepts and progress updates to internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical intent through documentation, visualizations, and simulations. Provide mentorship and technical support to engineering team members as needed and assist with additional operational responsibilities when required.
