Job Opening: Auto Body Painter
Shift: 1st Shift – Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, as needed)
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $21.00/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Auto Body Painters to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and paint, with the ability to deliver high-quality results while maintaining safety and productivity standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Mask glass, trim, and other parts not to be painted.
  • Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for painting.
  • Mix and match paints to achieve proper color and finish.
  • Operate, clean, and maintain spray guns and other painting equipment.
  • Read and interpret plans to ensure proper application of product.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Complete daily cleanup of work areas.
Required Education, Knowledge & Skills:
  • Associate degree in Auto Body Technology or equivalent school and work experience.
  • 2–4 years of automotive body repair and paint experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operations manuals, and written directions.
  • Must successfully complete:
    • Pulmonary function test (for respirator use).
    • CRT (physical) test with Medium rating or higher.
  • Ability to perform basic shop math.
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
