Minimum Bachelor's degree in education, social services, behavioral therapy or related field
Minimum 2 years work experience with children and families
Highly organized
Excellent communication
Bilingual (English, Spanish, Creole, ASL) is a plus
RBT training is a definite plus
- Develop and implement individual success plan goals specific to the child's needs
- Administer assessment tools with fidelity, collect and report accurate data
- Provide in-home education and support to children with ASD, developmental delays or exhibiting ASD indicators
- Participate in field trips, respite/educational sessions, workshops and other activities
- Participate in team and supervisory case and file reviews with the goals of fidelity and data integrity
You will provide specialized training and support in their home environment to children from age 3 through 8th grade with diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental delays, or ASD indicators. You will create personalized success plans based on the child's unique needs, teach communication, social, self-help and play skills using evidence-based techniques; work closely with families and their professional and personal support teams to provide guidance, training and support ensuring they are equipped to reinforce learning and development at home and in the community. You will conduct assessments, collect data, and maintain timely and accurate records on each child's progress.
