Summary

Serve as a senior internal control consultant responsible for conducting enterprise IT audits and risk assessments. This role evaluates IT control environments, identifies and communicates risks, and provides audit guidance to multiple levels of leadership while supporting continuous improvement of audit practices and mentoring junior audit staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal IT audits and reviews to identify risks, document controls, and assess control effectiveness
• Communicate audit issues, results, and recommendations clearly to IT, business, and executive leadership
• Support development of the annual audit plan through risk universe identification and assessment
• Facilitate project risk assessments, lessons?learned sessions, and management action planning workshops
• Develop, maintain, and report against audit work plans aligned with scope and objectives
• Prepare complete, accurate, and timely audit documentation and workpapers
• Identify, recommend, and support improvements to audit methodologies, policies, and procedures
• Educate employees and management on IT controls and promote an effective control environment
• Participate in departmental or divisional initiatives and infrastructure projects as assigned
• Assist with training, coaching, and development of IT audit staff

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of related experience, including 3+ years of IT audit or information security experience
• Strong understanding of information technology environments and project management principles
• Professional audit certification required (CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CGEIT, HITRUST, or equivalent)
• Advanced analytical and critical?thinking skills with the ability to connect risks to data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive?level presentations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large, complex enterprise IT environments
• Familiarity with audit tools, automated workpapers, and data analytics platforms
• Background in regulated or highly controlled environments
