Salary Range: $90,000–$120,000

Position Overview

Our client in Preston, CT is seeking an experienced Audit Consultant to support their finance team through a critical audit period. This role is heavily focused on advanced Sage 100 bank reconciliations and audit support, helping the organization close out FY25 and prepare for future audits by resolving longstanding reconciliation issues.

This engagement will free up internal finance leadership to focus on day-to-day operations while ensuring audit requirements are met accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced bank reconciliations in Sage 100, serving as the primary owner of reconciliation activities
• Correct bank code maintenance and resolve account balance discrepancies within Sage 100
• Identify and fix errors impacting bank registers and reconciliations, including journal entry impacts
• Prepare detailed general ledger and reconciliation reports (including screenshots and month-by-month support) for auditors
• Respond to audit documentation and reporting requests until accounts are fully reviewed and approved
• Support completion of the FY25 audit and assist with readiness for FY26 and FY27 as needed

Required Qualifications

• Required: Strong hands-on experience with Sage 100 ERP
• Advanced experience performing bank reconciliations in a complex environment
• Prior experience supporting audits and preparing audit-ready documentation and reports
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work through issues methodically and thoroughly
• Comfortable working independently and partnering with auditors and internal finance leadership
