Our client is currently seeking a qualified Audio Visual & Premium Desktop Technician to join their team onsite in Atlanta, GA and provide end-user support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Our client is currently seeking a qualified Audio Visual & Premium Desktop Technician to join their team onsite in Atlanta, GA and provide end-user support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with End User support and troubleshooting for issues including PC, mobility, wireless, and audio visual ("AV”) conference room telepresence and physical connectivity
- Provide support for Windows OS, MS Office, and client Core Image applications
- Perform PC builds and transfer for new deployments
- Assist with hardware repair break/fix support for warranty and out of warranty costs as approved by client
- Provide hands and eyes assistance for other client IT resolver groups as directed by client
- Assist with the analysis and resolution of hardware and software issues
- Mobile cell phone support (e.g., downloading of client provided applications and basic trouble shooting)
- Minor cabling such as patch cables and cable management, where minor cabling excludes cabling work behind the wall, under the floor or above the ceiling where a ladder or lift is required
- PC Lifecycle, software support, audio visual, and GCOM/Teams
- Printer support to assist with printer troubleshooting and resolution of basic issues as directed by client that are not otherwise provided by a client contractor for managed print services: (examples include: Paper jams, Toner replacement, Basic configuration issues)
- Assist client facilities team and designated service providers for managed print services
- Address incidents related to client applications, Collaboration Tools, mobility, wireless, Teams
- Role is heavily AV support 90% AV support and 10% deskside IT support
- Manage Teams meetings and Townhalls
- Assist the regular PC support person when out, but primary focus will be AV
- Perform regular conference room walkthroughs before start of day to ensure working equipment
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience supporting conference rooms and associated equipment
- Lifecycle PC support, printer support, mobile device support, break/fix, and warranty repairs experience
- Vendor management experience
- Asset tracking experience
- ServiceNow Ticketing experience or similar ITSM
- Minimum 3+ years of audio-visual support with MS Teams, multiple conference rooms, and connectivity issues
- Familiar with Logitech equipment
- Extremely professional communication skills, presentation skills and demeanor
- Professional clean-cut appearance
- Able to work early hours for meetings and town halls
Wage Range:
The rate for this position is between $20.25 - $29.70 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
