We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Attorney specializing in Trust and Estate law to join our dynamic legal team. This role is ideal for an experienced attorney who is well-versed in wills, probate, power of attorney, drafting, and estate planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive counsel and legal support to our clients in matters related to estate planning, trusts, and probate. This role demands a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on matters related to trusts, estates, wills, probate, and power of attorney.
2. Draft, review, and amend a wide range of legal documents including wills, trust agreements, powers of attorney, and other related documents.
3. Navigate complex probate processes, including the administration of estates and trusts.
4. Develop estate plans tailored to each client's specific needs and circumstances.
5. Represent clients in court proceedings related to trusts and estates, if necessary.
6. Stay updated with the latest changes in laws and regulations related to trusts, estates, probate, and estate planning.
7. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure a comprehensive approach to client service.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a practicing attorney with a focus on trusts, estates, wills, probate, and estate planning.
3. Current license to practice law in the state.
4. Proven experience in drafting legal documents and navigating probate processes.
5. In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to trusts, estates, probate, and estate planning.
6. Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
8. Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
9. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
10. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
