Job Details
Position Overview
The Estate Planning Attorney will advise clients on wills, trusts, and comprehensive estate planning strategies. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing client relationships independently and drafting sophisticated estate planning documents.
Responsibilities
- Draft and review wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives
- Advise clients on estate planning strategies, asset protection, and wealth transfer
- Conduct client consultations and provide clear, practical legal guidance
- Assist with probate matters, as needed
- Manage estate planning matters from intake through execution
- Help develop and grow the firm’s estate planning practice
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license in good standing in the State of [State]
- 2+ years of estate planning experience preferred
- Strong drafting and client counseling skills
- Ability to manage cases independently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
