ASSOCIATE TECHNICIAN - TECHNICIAN - Warehouse & Inventory Control

Who We Are:

We are the Fuels and Lubricants Division! We perform testing on different types of vehicles, from compact cars to tractor-trailers, off-road equipment, and internal combustion engines from lawn mowers to locomotives. By joining our team, you will receive an additional $500.00 in your first paycheck, minus applicable taxes.

Objectives of this Role:
  • Through on-the-job training, you will have the opportunity to work in various warehouses tracking samples through software inventory control.
  • Learn about the fuel and lubricant testing we provide.
  • Manage client product for the purpose of fuel and lubricant testing.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Receive, stock, issue, track and deliver incoming client supplied products ranging in different bulk sizes (2oz - 55gallons) and enter in database.
  • Receive and count client supplied products before signing off on receivables/shipping ticket. Prepare products for shipping
  • Transfer fuels between tanks as requested and input data to a database.
  • Transfer oil samples between buildings to and from our testing laboratories.
  • Transfer and pickup oil samples off campus as requested from clientele.
  • Prepare samples for disposal by marking, removing containers from racks and putting them in proper disposal area; crush containers after disposal of contents.
  • Prepare lubricant samples for storage; perform an oil pour-out from one container to another at specified volumes by clients; maintain, label and verify inventory levels; communicate with co-workers, engineers and clients concerning lubricant and fuel status
  • Use forklift and truck to move lubricants and fuel samples; use tanker truck to move fuel as requested; assist in keeping all work areas clean.
  • Comply with all EPA, DOT, OSHA and TCEQ regulations. Maintain oil and fuel database with incoming/outgoing client supplied products.
Requirements:
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. CDL preferred.
  • Shift work required.
  • 1-2 years: Experience in warehouse control environment with the ability and familiarity of operating warehouse/inventory software applications desired.
  • 1 years: Knowledge/familiar with Microsoft Office Applications - Excel and Word.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
