We are seeking a hands-on R&D Test Technician to support early-stage development and testing of electrical enclosures used in high-density liquid cooling systems. This role is ideal for candidates with electromechanical testing experience in a laboratory or industrial environment, including technicians who have previously worked as HVAC Technicians and are comfortable working with mechanical systems, electrical components, and cooling equipment.
The R&D Test Technician will work closely with engineers to build prototypes, assemble test setups, and run experimental testing as new cooling and enclosure technologies are developed for high-performance computing and data center applications.

Pay Rate: 28hr-32hr
- Assemble and modify prototype electrical enclosures and liquid cooling system components.
- Set up and run experimental lab tests on cooling systems, pumps, enclosures, and related electromechanical components.
- Build and configure test rigs and lab setups including pumps, tubing, sensors, wiring, and instrumentation.
- Operate lab equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, thermocouples, flow meters, and pressure sensors.
- Collect and record test data, observations, and performance measurements during experiments.
- Assist engineers with hands-on troubleshooting, system modifications, and iterative prototype builds.
- Fabricate and modify basic mechanical assemblies, wiring, and plumbing connections for liquid cooling loops.
- Maintain lab equipment, tools, and test benches to support ongoing R&D activities.
- Follow lab safety procedures and maintain an organized working environment.
- 0-2 years of hands-on electromechanical experience in a lab, manufacturing, industrial, or technical environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience assembling mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with common lab and shop tools such as multimeters, hand tools, and measurement instruments.
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Experience working with fluid systems, pumps, or cooling equipment is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Background working in an R&D lab or prototype development environment.
- HVAC Technician experience (strongly considered).
- Experience with liquid cooling systems, refrigeration components, pumps, or heat exchangers.
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electromechanical Technology, HVAC, Electrical Technology, or similar field.
