Overview

Associate Payroll Services Administrator Objective

To perform and assist in assigned functions necessary to support the payroll programs and the benefit programs of Michigan Farm Bureau and its Affiliated Companies (MFBAC) and the Management Assistance Program (MAP), such that confidential, accurate, and timely payroll checks and related information reports are provided.



Responsibilities

Associate Payroll Services Administrator Responsibilities

Coordinate, develop, and maintain integration of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger into Great Plains for any MFBAC's requesting and requiring these services. Assist in training users on the payroll electronic time system.


Provide administrative support to regular payroll following established procedures.
Ensure timely paycheck distribution and direct deposit.


Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll data with discretion.



Qualifications



Associate Payroll Services Administrator Qualifications

Required

·        High school diploma or equivalent required.

·        Personal computer experience required.

·        Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing applications, such as Microsoft Office Excel and Word.

·        Organizational and analytical skills.

·        Data entry, typing, and 10-key calculator skills.

 

Preferred

·        Associate’s degree in accounting preferred.

·        Two years payroll experience preferred.
