Job Details
The role:
Someone who can jump from a contract negotiation to a compliance question to an M&A conversation without missing a beat. The business is complex, fast-moving, and operating in a regulated industry, which means the legal questions are rarely simple and never boring.
Day to day, you'll draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, advise business units on regulatory and compliance matters, and keep outside counsel focused and cost-conscious. When a deal comes across the table, you'll be in the room for due diligence and integration. When a compliance issue surfaces, you won't be waiting for direction — you'll already be three steps ahead.
This role sits at the intersection of law and business in the truest sense. You won't be isolated in a legal silo reviewing documents all day. You'll be partnering with finance, operations, sales, and HR — and walking into C-Suite conversations expected to have a point of view, not just an answer. Privacy law, insurance regulation, HR governance, marketing review — the breadth is real, and so is the expectation that you can handle it.
