System One is seeking an Associate Engineering Technician in Tualatin, OR. This role will be responsible for the development of plan & profile deliverables using Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation. This role will be within our client's infrastructure division, supporting client needs related to underground transmission line projects. Basic Civil 3D experience is required with knowledge of alignments, plan/profile, and sections. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, standard business hours
Pay rate up to $36/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Job Summary
Supports engineering teams under general supervision
Performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Uses digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)
Creates, updates, and maintains technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables
Begins providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering technicians
Key Responsibilities
Stay current on applicable standards, systems, document control practices, departmental guides, and our client's policies and procedures
Apply knowledge of the Quality Program to ensure accurate, compliant deliverables
Demonstrate strong attention to detail while supporting continuous improvement and change management initiatives
Use and expand applications and tools to evaluate and improve methods, processes, and procedures
Create and develop project deliverables based on a variety of design inputs
Perform basic computations, including material quantity estimates and dimensional checks
Coordinate deliverables with other project groups to minimize errors and interferences
Support internal client needs while developing an understanding of external client priorities and drivers
Proactively seek out, share, and apply knowledge of new technologies and evolving processes
Skills Required:
Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation
Development of plan and profile deliverables using Autodesk Civil 3D
Basic Civil 3D experience with knowledge of alignments, plan/profile, and sections.
Continues to learn and remains current on standards, systems, document control, departmental guides and policies and procedures.
Begins to proactively apply knowledge of the Quality Program to ensure that the deliverables are accurate and compliant.
Demonstrates personal accuracy and supports continuous improvement and change management efforts.
Broadening the use of applications to learn to continuously evaluate and improve methods, processes and procedures used to accomplish deliverables.
Create and develop deliverables based on a variety of design inputs.
May perform basic computations such as material quantity estimates and dimensional checks.
Assist in coordinating deliverables with other groups involved on the same project to minimize interference or errors.
Focuses on the needs of internal clients while gaining basic understanding of external client's main interests and drivers.
Proactively seeks and shares knowledge of latest technologies and processes
Education Requirements:
Diploma or Certificate required.
Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience.
