We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Associate for our Corporate - Investment Funds division in the Legal industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to join a high-performing team that delivers top-tier legal services in the field of investment funds. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and will be responsible for advising on all aspects of fund structuring, private investment, regulatory and compliance matters, as well as fund operations.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate in our Corporate - Investment Funds division, you will:
1. Provide comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of investment fund matters, including fund structuring, private investments, regulatory and compliance issues, and fund operations.
2. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement effective strategies for our clients.
3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, and ensure that our clients are fully informed and compliant.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive high-quality legal services.
5. Work closely with other divisions within the organization to provide a holistic service to our clients.
6. Participate in business development activities, including networking events and client presentations.
7. Handle complex legal matters with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong decision-making skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A law degree from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law, specifically in the area of investment funds.
3. Strong knowledge of fund structuring, private investment, regulatory and compliance matters, and fund operations.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal matters.
6. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
7. A commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations.
