Associate Construction Project Manager I (On-site)

We are seeking an Associate Construction Project Manager I for our client to support Capital Design & Construction projects during the design and construction phases. This role provides oversight to ensure projects are delivered consistently, meet quality standards, and remain in compliance with contract requirements.
- Support project oversight during design and construction phases
- Ensure compliance with work plans, specifications, and contract requirements
- Serve as a point of contact for quality-related matters
- Review submittals, including Quality Work Plans and Quality Management Plans
- Conduct audits of contractors and project management team responsibilities
- Perform quality audits throughout project lifecycle
- Review material inspection and field inspection reports for compliance
- Identify and manage non-compliance reports
- Perform root cause analysis and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented
- Develop and review quality procedures
- Maintain and manage SharePoint quality database and generate reports
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration, public administration, or a related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience
- OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of related experience
Experience
- At least 1 year of project experience
- Experience supporting or managing large and/or complex construction projects
Skills
- Knowledge of capital construction procedures
- Familiarity with project delivery methods
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
Preferred
- Familiarity with Transit operations
- Experience in quality management
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Location
Based at 2 Broadway, New York, NY with approximately 50% travel to field offices throughout the five boroughs
