We are seeking a seasoned Associate Attorney in either the Sacramento. CA area or the Ontario, CA with a focus on Municipal Law to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers an incredible opportunity to work on a diverse range of legal matters concerning public and private entities. You will be involved in municipal litigation, legal research, and other complex legal matters. If you have a passion for municipal law and a proven track record of providing outstanding legal counsel, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

As a Associate Attorney-Municipal Law, you will:

1. Provide legal counsel to public and private entities on a broad range of municipal matters, including land use, zoning, public contracts, and environmental law and other municipal related practice areas.
2. Conduct thorough and timely legal research to support case preparation and advise clients.
3. Represent clients in municipal litigation, including trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
4. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
5. Provide legal opinions and advice on a range of municipal laws and regulations.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to provide comprehensive legal services.
7. Stay updated on current laws, court decisions, and regulations affecting municipal law.
8. Participate in client development and networking activities to foster strong client relationships and grow the practice.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the role of Permanent Associate Attorney-Municipal Law, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney with a focus on municipal law.
4. Proven experience in municipal litigation, representing both public and private entities.
5. Excellent legal research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, concise advice.
6. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively advocate for clients and present complex legal concepts to non-lawyers.
7. Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
8. A high degree of professionalism and adherence to strict ethical standards.
9. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
10. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
